Hi and welcome to my website, now I don't know what or why I'm doing this, but hey! Why not....

This website is really just some of my stories that I would like to share with you.

I started flying some time ago and I have a story or Two to tell. So read on and look through my site. There are some videos and pictures that you may find interesting.

First, I should explain the reason behind the name of this site.

‘Bar Stool Flying’

Well I should really thank my Dad and my Wife for that, when I told Dad I had started flying lessons and that the aircraft was a Microlight, he said ‘a what?’
Then I showed him a picture of one and he replied, "that’s not a plane, that’s a bloody Lawnmower strapped to a kite!! You won’t get me in that thing…."

And when I took my wife up flying she said it was like sitting on a Bar stool 1500 feet in the Air..

And So Bar stool flying was born.
